What about Bandra? Marathi name Vandre, Hindi and English name Bandra. There is evidence in all signboards which write Vandre in Marathi and the same in English is written as Bandra. To cite another example, what about the pronunciation of the name of Lord Krishna? Let us see them give an explanation.

Nice to know the residents of Bombay/Mumbai are so relaxed about the PC issues. Is that generally true of other renamed place names, for instance, Calcutta/Kolkata

fyi, massive attack did at least 2 different remixes–the one you know and another longer one called “duck pond dub.” it’s longer and a bit “trippy-er,” as “dub” might imply.

I dumped Adobe’s PDF viewer in favor of an alternative (Foxit) a good five years ago, mostly due to the hideous startup time of their massively over-bloated piece of excrement. Take a look around on the web, there are plenty of alternatives out there.

I agree 100% with others that they have crossed way over the line for installing junk that people don’t want.

I have to wonder if Adobe know that the writing is on the wall for them. There are many good alternatives to their PDF reader, most all of which are vastly superior, and given a few years, HTML5 should destroy Flash once and for all. I will not be at all saddened to see them collapse.

Thank you for writing this! My allergic boyfriend and I are adopting a dog on Thursday and even though he didn’t seem to have a reaction to the dog when we met her last week, he IS allergic to dogs and there’s still a possibility that he’ll develop allergies once she gets into our home. I stumbled upon an article on this product and had been looking for reviews. They are few and far between, but your testimony has given me hope. Will definitely be picking up this product and hopefully he’ll continue to be allergy-free!

Dinesh is correct. The city is now known as ‘Mumbai’ but people still refer to it as Bombay.

If you’re new to Mumbai or visiting the city, I’d suggest you visit this site I found (www.magicalmumbai.com) which tells you in detail about the city.

@Sameer – Im not quite sure about Bombay being a state earlier. It was formed by merging 7 islands.
